The green chile burger is sooooo delicious!!!! The fries were okay but the burger was it! You may not want to try this place based on the outside of the building but that would be a mistake. I'll definitely go back when visiting g Carlsbad.
We had been on the road for over a week by the time we got to Carlsbad, New Mexico. We were exhausted, hungry, & tired of driving - & then we found Church Street Grill. Everything about our meal scratched the road-trip itch, so to speak. The cheeseburgers were not fussy or fancified; they were traditional & delicious. The tots were also nothing special, & that's exactly what made them the perfect road trip snack. It's been over a year since we were in New Mexico & we still talk about the green chile cheeseburger all the time. We wish there was a Church Street Grill in New England. If we're ever in Carlsbad again, we will definitely be coming back ... At least 3 times if we can.
